Hi, I’m Bobby J. I have been producing music on and off for a few years now. I have just rececntly been receiving a bit more attention for my music, however. It started out mainly as a hobby; something to kill time, and just play with different instruments. After refining my skills a little bit, and becoming a little more serious about producing house muisc, I started focusing more and more time into this “hobby”.
To make a long story short, a friend and long time supporter, my cousin, James Courtney, passed some of my tracks to some friends of his, while he was living in Washington D.C. They really liked what they heard, and felt that I was good enough to have some tracks released on their label, Metronix Recordings. So after a few trips to D.C. for negotiations, everything was set to start rolling into motion.
Now I am currently always working on new stuff, when I gain some inspiration. I have to say, making music is still somewhat of a hobby, but probably leaning more towards an obsession to making the kind of music I want to hear, and to see other people enjoying my music.
